The reengineering project, while promising a modern solution for the traditional markets, offered no potential for immediate action. A new project was lauched for finding and introducing alternative IT solutions. Several products was tested and evaluated. Data warehouse building, data mining, management reports One of the offspring of the large retail reengineering project. A data warehouse was built gradually on expanding domains of retail data: POS invoices along with supplier, article, customer databases; orders / supplier invoices, financial / management data, etc. Collected data was later analysed by using data mining methods and used in purchasing / marketing decisions. Reengineering of a large retail system / quality assurance, technology supervision Cooperation in a large project spanned over 5 years targeting new software technologies and reengineering of a complex retail system on all levels (store, purchase, marketing, etc.). The quality assurance included, among others, selection of automated test tools, desing and execution of test scenarios on module, integration and system level. Technology supervision (style guides, code review, development cycle support, database tuning, etc.) was provided as well within the scope of the subproject. Project based in Zug / Switzerland.
